Saw this after poking around on the net, good unit to take some ideas off if you dont want to tear the rear bumper to bits!

yea they are bolted on your tow bar something very similar available here already.But its welded on, i had jeep fit one when i bought my xj new and i didnt know better ,$1100 cost a fair bit but u do get tow bar as well dont know what tow bars are worth on there own , now ive damaged my rear bar ill be making one with carrier.

Ha ha, you can actually see the bar in the hitch tilting as it is opened.

Yep,

Saw that as well, not overly sturdy but would beat having the spare on the roof. Could be made stiffer though.
