Fridge slider, how are you guys mounting it?
I picked up the Dun and Watson from 4wdsuperstore this week. I only intended to mount it onto the cargo floor.
Thought their wood based inside the plastics, I was wrong!
Anyway, that did not stop me from proceeding. All mounted to the floor board and put back into the boot, to only realize the floor board clips into a bit of plastic which is detachable!
With a bit of weight on the slider when extended, the floor board will lift causing a catastrophe..
Complete failure in every aspect!

That is some relief. You dont find when the fridge is extended, the rear can give way lifting the floor board?
I have the waeco cfx 50.
Thought an option would be mount some diagonal slot at the rear of the flood board to slide under. Mounting the slots to the plastic surrounding the spare wheel well.

Had no issues with it at all obviously you wouldn't someone swinging off it but I've had no issues with the 50ltr & have just upgraded to the 60ltr which is the same length but wider.

I guess when you are travelling, the car area would be loaded with cargo so the floor would have some weight to compensate.

Hi, As my spare is a BFG 265 65 my original floor does not lock down (though still sits ok for general use), I went for a replacement floor when using the fridge made from Ply with some carpet glued to it. Mounted the fridge slide to this and used an extended bolt (for securing the spare tyre) to secure the fridge slide floor and at the same time secures the spare.
Don't have any pictures though this is a similar concept that I copied. Works well and no problem with extended fridge weight causing and issues.
