Default W.E. Rock Competition pictures and video

Hi there,

Just found some cool images of the Firetruck on offroadimages.com.au.
Thought I would put them in this thread and keep it seperate from the other really long one.

Offroadimages has hundreds of photos of all of the competitors and vehicles and is definitely worth spending some time looking through all of them. They have done a fantastic job capturing the action.

Also look out for the DVD when it is released

If anyone has any other pictures or video then please upload it.

cheers

zach

I think you will find that it doesn't matter what you do to a full bodied rig it will never be able to compete at the upper level in full on rockcrawling like WErock. Tuff truck is a different story completely and I believe you really need tyre size and diff clearance to do well there.

Full bodied trucks are just too big, weight too much etc. for WErock.

I believe most of the buggys weigh 900-1200kg and even lighter in some cases.
They run lead shot in the front tyres to get them over the weight limit requirement. The USA guys mentioned they used 80kg or more of lead shot in the tyres.

I think you will find Shane will be running a buggy next year

cheers

but i think it would be a good idea for tuff truck and you could then run coilovers and could also run tyres as big as 49's i would love to see 49'' irocs go on the firetruck would i'll post some pics of a jeep on 49'' irocs
