Default 2012 GC Overland ,Airconditioning and no fresh air!

Well either I am going stupid or the alternator failure has caused a problem!
How do I get just fresh outside air only into the cabin of the vehicle through the vents,I turn the fan on and it will send cooled or hot air in depending on what temp dialled up.Just want outside air in and use fan to raise or lower volume.Gone through the book no mention of fresh air!

Just been on a WK US site and the punters were bemoaning the fact that you can not draw fresh air in from outside the vehicle ,the air will either be heated or cooled! The plot thickens.

Yep...stop looking...I went out and started my old '13 model...the old 'vent'/fresh air option doesnt exist...and yep...nothing in the Glovebox Manual....I usually run Auto or demist...only two options I need...have always just run down the hiway with the temp set at 22C...recirc if its hot...fresh if its cold.
Driveway test says...nope...no vent option
