There's a few subjects the mainstream media love to hate and 4WDs are definately on the list.
Even if a car accident is being reported and a 4WD is involved, it is mentioned.
They will never run a positive story on 4WDs, as well as young people, nightclubs, Arabs (actually anything to do with the Middle East), mobile phones/computers (although they are starting to go soft on 'puters) to name a few.

I should have copied & paste, but I didn't comment left and accused the author of being a hoon (by driving a commodore / falcon) and of being a sensationalist reporter (I think, was a few minutes ago that I wrote my reply)

Firearm stories are worse than this, if it is a .22 with a scope, all of a sudden it becomes a high capacity rifle with the media outlets blowing it up worse than a hot air balloon joyride

I've never read so much BS in all my life, seriously it jus crap. But it was worth the laugh. I'd really love to meet this guy.
