Default MY2014 Alarm Activating
Having an issue with the alarm on my moth old GC. I park tail in at work and when the person next to me is reversing in to their bay, it gets to a certain point and the alarm on the GC goes off. From what I can gather it goes off just as the rear of their vehicle is level with the nose of mine. Understandably they are getting quite peeved with it. Anyone else had or heard of this behaviour?

I have a proximity alarm on my MX5 that beeps when any car or person comes within 1M proximity. Does the Jeep have similar.

When I am in an underground carpark and blip the engine (high flow sports exhaust) the sound sets off car alarms all around me ... funny for the first few times ... embarrassing after that

Or it could be that the park assist sensors are picking up something ... or there is a "force field" in the other car .. bosses car perhaps

Must be a bugger to have it happen.
