Hi All,
I have a 2013 Grand Cherokee Laredo diesel with 35000km on it. Am getting a high pitched whining noise from the front diff (I think) at 95 - 100kph on smooth bitumen on a light throttle. Noise is worse (louder) when towing 2.7t caravan. Dealer not very helpful as yet as car is still under warranty. Any ideas as I don't want an expensive problem when the warranty runs out..
If so, take the service bulletin ozjeepster posted earlier in this thread to your dealer. It's an issue with some front driveshafts in that model and once my dealer worked it out, it was an easy warranty fix.
