Default N58 Safety Recall MY14 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Fiat Chrysler Group—Jeep Grand Cherokee
PRA number: 2013/13830
Date published: 11th November 2013
Product information
Product description
2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

What are the defects?
Due to a disruption of computer communications and loose alternator ground wires, the affected vehicles may experience random or failed illumination of dashboard warning lights and loss of anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC) function.
What are the hazards?
A loss of ABS and ESC function reduces the driver's ability to control the vehicle. Drivers would not be warned of brake system failures or any other failures which would normally be illuminated on the dashboard display. This poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.

Have mine booked in next Tuesday...Funny how you have to ask about it??
Had them check my VIN on my very very new WK2 and N58 update not done. Thought something like this would at least be done before delivery or require some sort of letter from Jeep..Glitch that effects ABS brakes & ESP would seem to be important.
