MY2014 Whining/Whistling noise when coasting

Sounds almost identical to mine with whistle only occurring on deceleration....those on jeep garage forum suggested a turbo hose.

Iv had 2 with the same issue hear in coffs both turned out to be the front prop shaft when rolling off the throttle into coast it would whisle like a champion , hard to trace but got a great return from a set of magnetic ears attached to the yoke housing on the fron diff ,to confirm just had to pull the front shaft with the wi-tech hooked up ,drove it and all good ,new shaft fitted and no more noise .

Now dont go by the release date , there is no difference between a 2011 WK & 2014 WK in the drivetrain except for the Auto Trans from 5speed too 8speed the rest is the same & the prop shafts are identical

Awesome, thanks for all your help with this. It's with the dealer today. My wife gave them the TSB and explained the noise when she dropped it off. Hopefully they are able to replicate the issue - It is much more rare in cooler weather, which we have had here in Canberra lately. I'll let you know how it goes.

The dealer diagnosed the faulty driveshaft and will be replacing it under warranty when the parts come in, in early February. My wife gave them the TSB and I think being proactive went a long way to a pretty quick resolution.
