That's fine.
I've been making slow progress. I finally got a working steering box. It took some donor powersteering lines ex US and some silver solder to finally get a fitting that could fit under the cross member. It works well now though.
I've replaced a heap of components in the Holley 350 and finally got it to idle nicely. The next problem is the mixture goes lean when the main jets come on. Does anyone know what main jets are recommended?
I fitted an autometer wideband airfuel meter to help with the tuning. It appears to be good. The CJ idles best around a 12-13/1 mixture. Slightly on the rich side.
I've reassembled the transfer case and refitted it. I ended up with two cracked rear housings and took the opportunity to learn to weld alumium with a MIG. Not the easiest job, but seems to work ok.
