I have fitted a 2011-13 centre console bin and armrest with the extra tray to my MY15 Overland.
It took some creativity as the ZF8 has a manual park release right where the hinges are for the armrest, which fouls on the tray if you're trying to fit a MY11-13 armrest.... You will have no issues if you simply get the larger storage bin, remove your CD player, and then fit the new bin and retain your MY14+ armrest.
Can follow instructions here to disasemble the centre console to replace your CD player bin with the larger bin (follow the instructions in post #11):

The CD player simply unplugs and you just tuck the plug away under your console and never worry about it again.
FYI, the large non-CD player bin can be found on all MY11-13 WK2's, and all MY14+ Laredo models. There are also higher trim models that have opted to not have the CD player on the build sheet, so you may find Limited's etc with the larger bin still. It seems in the US, CD player's in MY14+ were optional, and more often the buyers didn't opt for them, but in Aust it seems Jeep Australia decided to opt in favour of the CD players until 2017 and buyers had to opt out of the CD player if they didn't want it... Many MY18+ in Aust seem to have reverted back to non-CD players by default (not sure if these have the armrest tray like the MY11-13's had though) and the buyer having to opt in if they wanted it. So just some info if you're going to look around at the wreckers etc on what model to get your larger bin from. Otherwise new bins are readily avail online. They are all the same. The 12v socket moves down into the lower forward section of the larger bin vs the upper section on CD player bins.
After the new massive bin is installed, if you're re-using your armrest you're done.
However if you are switching to a MY11-13 armrest that has a tray, then here's how to make that work.
The issue you'll come accross is the manual park release cable and mechanism on the ZF8 trans is in between the rear of the bin and the armrest hinges, it has a cover to hide it away (easily removed to release the trans if needed to tow etc) but it protrudes up and fouls on the 2011-13's armrest.
To make it work together you need:
1. Larger bin from whatever model you get it from
2. MY14+ trans park release cover
3. MY11-13 armrest with tray
Pic of the trans manual park release cable and mechanism after the cover is removed:
The cover itself:
Comparison of the MY14+ cover on the left vs the MY11-13 cover on the right, can see how the older model's cover has a recess and fouls on the ZF8 park release:
Unfortuantely you cannot use the MY11-13 armrest with tray on a MY14+ becasue the ZF8's park release cover protudes upwards and fouls on the USB socket's cover on the underside of the armrest. This is the cover that needs to be removed:
This is the underside of the MY11-13 armrest with tray with the above cover removed, can see the backside of the USB socket and its wiring, which needs to be removed:
USB socket removed, it simply slides upwards (when the armrest is upside down):
