Don't forget I have a really good low K 2000 model t/case here if you need it, dry yoke just like yours just less K's, less age and oh yeah not broken

Ordered some LED DRL's to replace my 'el cheapo (water filled) fogs. Blah, blah, increased visibility, blah. I know it's a bit of wank but I like 'em!

Swapped in the "bored" throttle body that i bought.

Then reset the ecu.

She revved her guts out at idle for a little while,(conditions apply: please allow for exaggeration. It revved up around 1500rpm, not revving her guts out i know, but hey, it's all relative) and then calmed back down again. Seems to have a little more go off the mark at this stage, will be interesting to see how it pans out.

It is definitely a different beast now with this and the vt commodore injectors though.

I am now going to clean up, bore out, and sell my old throttle body. (the circle of life)

Now if only my exhaust manifold would crack, so that i had an excuse for extractors.....

Today I used my XJ to boil water, create steam and rupture a heater hose...

Let Jeepy recover from the drive from Canberra to Brisbane (Dad's 70 th birthday this weekend). Saw fruits of maintenance done in days prior to departure. Best fuel economy? 10.28L / 100 km...pretty happy with that. Seems taking the roofs bars off does make some difference (along with replacing rotor, cap, plugs, cleaning air filter, reboot ECU, new exhaust and wearing a beige cardigan and bowls hat).
