HeY Furkew, just an FYI, the slide has holes in it that align to the feet bolts for the engel, just pull the bolts, leave the feet on, I used superglue for te feet , and bolt it up, no need for straps[emoji41]

.

The difference between theory and practice is, in theory there is no difference...

Well the both fit. Sort of. Tight squeeze but retainer strips squeeze into place with a little convincing.

They must of changed the rear door soft top panels as the retainer strip on the cres is too long. Will trim it and see if it stays in place. Torneau not really designed for soft top frame either. Fits under it but little bit crumpled fold to go around the locator dowel. But still all good. Some protection from elements. Soft top front edge needed a few mm trimmed off to get hard top fronts back on which can't hurt either.

Sorted out cargo bar. Needed the plastic clips for it that I didnt know existed.

yer the plastic things that clip to the car that the bar clips to. I was trying to get the bar to clip directly to the car. duh......

Mesh goes to the front of the speaker pods so yes the front is open. But I can put the front freedom panels on after trimming a few mm of the rear door surrounds as the freedom panels sat on top and wouldn't quite fit properly where they should. Shouldn't effect putting the soft top on so I'm not worried.

I have a trail cover if needed but may look into a safari top as it should pack smaller than the freedom panels. I'm happy enough to run as it is now so long as I can get the hard top hoist sorted as the hard top will go back on after taking 2 screws out of the rear door covers in a matter of minutes and can leave the rest in place just sitting inside under the hard top.

Stoked with new shoes. 305/70/16 mud hogs and 16x8 black king steel rims. Time to test em tonight at glasshouse. Cheers to TJ Chaddy for the hookup.
