Default Hi from Cairns

Hi all,
My names Luke, Im 21 and live in Cairns, Queensland.

Im looking to buy a 4 door Wrangler. Preferably a diesel auto. Will be my daily drive with some weekend exploration involved

This will be my first 4x4 after owning a few performance orientated cars. My father is a jeep nut. He's owned a few which is what has steered me towards the Jeep badge.

We are handy with spanners so I plan to do a few bolt on upgrades myself. Will be keeping it fairly basic. Suspenion, flares, bars, winch etc.

First of all I need to buy one.

I have found a 2009 TD auto with 35000km locally in a car yard for $30000. Stock standard unlimited. Looks like its never seen a gravel road. Is this a reasonable price?
Keeping in mind it is a yard so they will take my 2006 V8 ute as a trade (probably try to give me 3 peanuts and a peppermint for it )

Look forward to being part of the community. Are there any members from FNQ?

Cheers, Luke
