Default KJs on tour

Following on from Aus Patriots example I thought it would be good to have a thread for KJs on tour stories. I didn't want to hijack Aus Patriots so consider this the start of a free for all for KJ road trip stories. With the School Holiday time on us, who is going where in their KJs.

As for me I'm heading out to Nyngan in western NSW for the National Campertrailer Group Meet starting on Sunday the 4th and running through that week. The camper prep is all done and I have the LCD TV in for the NRL Grand Final broadcast, and will probably take the kayak (I am told there is water in the Bogan River).

Bit shorter drive than yours Glend but the KJ is loaded and we are off to Margaret River in 3 hours for a 4 day weekend. Have seen a few tracks down there last time that look like fun which I am planning to have a better look at.

GIVE ME A CALL!!!!!!!!!

We are heading down to Busselton tomorrow for 4 nights & intend on visiting the surrounds including Margaret River. Be cool to tackle some tracks together while we are down there. Candy Cow at Cowaramup & Simmo's icecream at Dunsborough will be some of the pitstops. I'll be on CH16.

Watchout on the new bypass road there has been 2400 people caught speeding in the first 5 days since opening.
Look here

You have PM.

Glen,
There you go, thread working already.

Talking

Heading down south this Saturday for 10 days to see the youngest daughter/son-in law and 2 granddaughters at Terrigal, on the coast about an hour south of Newcastle, stopping at Nambucca Heads for the weekend for the Valla Beach Hot Rod Run. I'm not sure that they class a lifted KJ as a hot rod but I do.
I will try to have a look in the mountains out from Gosford for some tracks and a bit of fun if I get time.

Hi Guy's,

If your going to do any tracks in Margaret River can you plse make a note of the good ones and post up the gps locations if possible?

Our Christmas function is in Margaret River so we will be spending 3 nights there in the 1st week of Dec.
I wouldn't mind getting LOST there.

Have a nice one and as Palla said watch out for the guys in blue.

Smerf,

Your stop over in Terrigal wiill put you very close to the Watagans. Sydney Jeep Club goes up there on a regular basis, and the Cherokee CLub of NSW is based in Gosford. The Watagans were the site of the 2008 Jeep Jamboree, heaps of good tracks in that area.
