I used the mopar site to book a 70k service ironically because the local dealer wouldn't answer the phone the 3 times i tried to book it in, on my WK which was done yesterday. When i dropped it off for what is essentially an oil and oil filter change they gave me paper work to sign for $587.50 after i had received the quote for $414.55 for their dealership through the mopar booking website. They started to argue the toss then i pulled out a screen shot i had taken on the iPad of the booking with date, time, car type, service etc, etc on it with the lower price and they caved in after i showed them the fine print stated it was valid for 30 days after the quote. So have i been getting ripped off by nearly 30% for the past 6 services up until now??? They were not happy about it and the other owners in the service centre at the time were all glued to the conversation listening in to why mine was $174 less than the cost of their service.
When i collected later in the day I asked the service manager for a list of standard service pricing and was shown a spreadsheet with it on but could not get a copy. I would strongly recommend if you are going to get the servicing done from a Jeep dealer you get the quote from the Mopar website and use it if cheaper, they're not loosing money at $414.55 for an oil change.
