I've never felt a black interior (had a couple) adds to the heat, but dark paint definitely does. Choose what appeals to you, it doesn't really matter what the rest of us think!

I went the light frost beige as I could not cope with the all black interior.
I would imagine the dark interior would also increase internal temps - I have a Black Forest Green and it's hot. Would not buy a dark colour again.
The light interior just looks so much classier but that's just my opinion.

i've noticed no difference in dark interiors compared to light interiors in terms of heat retention . Lighter colour interiors are much higher maintenance due to marking easily and showing every single fleck of dust and marks . Paint colour makes a bigger difference than interior .
I have the white and beige combo and no regrets, a pleasant change from the all black interior, much brighter inside. It still has the dark chocolate dash which cuts out the reflections.
We have the brown/blue combination after having had 2 all black and are happy with the change after 2 1/2 years. I use either of the commercially available leather conditioners on all leather twice a year.
