So far, Cooper ATR's looking good

I'm looking into investing in a set of Pro Comp black steel 17" rims (with round slots) ~$133 each + $15 delivery/rim with Maxxis Bighorn's for use when 4WDriving. Got a total price of $1550. Seems a bit steep IMO. It's the 17" rims that crank up the difference. When I had the WG, prices were much more reasonable.

Does anyone have any cheaper alternatives?

I have read here I thought and some where else that running the Commander wheels which have 7 mm less offset, +44, that it is enough to clear the upper ball joint bolt. Can some one clarify that for me?
I am looking at running some 235/80R17 ( 32's ).

Yup, I run Commander rims and 265/70 Bighorns and clear the bolt. To be precise the WH are 50.8 and the Commander 43.8mm.

Got both my sets off ebay for $200 a set. A mate got his set from gold coast wheels for $400 which were removed off another car to fit 20's.
