idea one - overhead console

basicly since the two overhead bars are removable i figured it wouldn't such a bad idea to remove them and weld on a few more bars and plate to become a fixing point for CB's and the like.

secondly having rolled a soft top suzuki i know just how much protection a little bit of canvas offers....bugger all.

the rear bar that stretches between the two existing rails can sit higher cause the factory soft top allows for this and after compulsory padding is installed the extra height will be appreciated

the second bar that extends between the two existing rails at the front is generally flat again due to the soft top - it has to be offset from the windscreen to allow the removal of the soft top.

two stringers and a bit of plate steel.... Simple.. Dia of the tube is that of the existing bars for smaller, the images are just that and have no dimensions associated to them, it would be better if it was a bolt on application, use your own car for working out your fiddely bits.

XJ Rear Bumper with Swing Out Tyre Carrier the same as AEV makes for a 2000 XJ. That would be excellent.
