Default 2.7 CRD suddenly dies while driving. DTC for random injectors p020x

First post here but long time lurker from Sweden!I bought a WJ 2003 2.7 CRD this winter and Im so happy with it! It has a bit over 290k km on it.

Now it has started to die on me while driving. It runs great and then suddenly just stalls and the CEL lights up. I stop and then it just starts as normal and drives as normal but with the CEL lit. If I turn it off and let it sit for a while the CEL is gone at next start up.
A few times, it have been hard to start it up again after a stall. Starts but idles rough for a second and dies again. After a few tries or maybe a minute wait it will start up and run fine again.
This can happen after 5 minutes of driving or not for a whole day.

I recently replaced a bad injector nr3 and seals for nr 1. But it have been driving fine for a while after that until this started happening.

I get DTCs for the injectors, usually a different one each time. p0201,p0202,p0203,p0204,p0205. I have erased the DTCs and they come back one or several at a time after a stall.
The p1601 is a new one, came on today.

I checked the harness that goes by the steering rack and it had been torn a bit but I could not see any damages cables. I wrapped it up with some rubber hose around that section but the problem is unchanged.

Please, do anyone have a clue of what can be the cause of this?

I have this problem intermittently too on the number 3 injector for some reason.

I usually fix the problem for a while by reseating the injector connector. I'm going to do a lit bit more cleaning and lubrication with some WD-40 I think. Certainly can't hurt.

Thank you for your replies!
Do you always get a dtc for number 3? I l will try to reseat all the injector connectors with some electrical cleaner spray.

Sounds like a costly problem! Where the symptoms similar?

That would feel more easy pin pointing the issue. For me it's always a random injector that gives a dtc. So I don't think that a single injector or connector is the issue for me.

OK! It do feels like it's getting worse. I think I will let a mechanic take a look at it.
I hate these kind of problems where it may or may not show the symptoms for a whole day or in 5 minutes of driving.
