yah i am happy with the change actually. I still miss my TJ heaps though, but the xj is more capable, more comfy and can actually take all my gear camping.

I do miss the taking the top down with the wrangler and the great turning circle. but even with rear seats removed, dual jerry can holders and rear storage unit they are too small for camping. And with any decent lift you need long arms or else they are too bouncy.

The xj can carry all my gear, + my daughter and have room to spare. Rides nicer at the same lift and is better on road and off.

so yeah i'm happy. My goal one day is to have a JK unlimited though.

updates....


installed drop brackets

and almost finished a new bullbar
redesigning a rear bar that takes a winch

thinking of how i'm going to lamiate my diffs


still havn't put the d44 in. I struggle to find time, but i'll get there this summer i reckon.
