That's a small size platform which is 940mm x 1250mm. Long enough to carry want I need and short enough not to interfere with the freedom top.

Finally got around to fitting the new flares

Now i just need a front bar so they go together a bit better. For now i dont mind, i cant see the mismatch from the driver's seat

What flares are they? How much more wider than factory? I think I might need new ones too. Changed the rims and tyres last week, they are now a bit wider than the flares.....

Have a look at Double Black Off Road's Flares. These are what I have and are 40mm wider than stock.

I looked at them initially but was told they dont do them anymore.

The ones i got are xenons and are about the same amount wider. I didnt paint them, and so far thats been the right decision, they would have been scratched to hell the last 5 days in the flinders and would have had to be redone!

Also, plans for a new front bar may have to be accelerated. My 8 year old daughterwas driving and took a dislike to a tree....
