I'm still a bit reluctant, mainly just because my local dealer has been rubbish in the past, and I don't have the time to risk dealing with them atm.

I assume you've pulled the code up?
It's almost definitely a short/bad circuit somewhere considering your other issues, and could even explain the whole lot.
Most mechanics and auto-elecs are only any good at interpreting the codes literally... so more-often-than-not it's gunna be hit-and-miss with electrical stuff.

If you somehow get motivated later, do another check over all the wiring looking for rubbing, especially for the stuff below;

P0652-SENSOR REFERENCE VOLTAGE 2 CIRCUIT LOW
Possible Causes
INTERMITTENT DTC
5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR
ENGINE CONTROL MODULE

Have booked mine in for N23 recall next week. Questioned the service manager at the local GC Jeep dealer who said it's an easy fix and they have not had any complaints!

Doc, when you ran over that black cat you didn't drive through a mirror as well did you
I think you might have check it before but this code can be caused by the battery leaking on the ECU & the swirl motor

Have booked my recall in on Thursday in Orange, Penrith couldn't do it till mid October

After reading this post yesterday morning thought I had better check ours. Was done about two weeks ago.
Put it into lo and..........."SERVICE 4WD SYSTEM".
No 4 lo and no neutral. Not a good start to the day and couldn't ring jeep as it was a public holiday.
Done some further reading up on other forums and had a read of the update procedure they should of followed

Was stoked when I called first thing this morning and they told me to bring it it.
Basically they didn't follow all the steps ( #15)
Take 2 and

All good

Blood pressure normal

Just make sure before you drive it away it will go into 4lo.
The service manager said he has had no problems, but how many people would have put their jeep into lo since having it done....and having this come up.

Most may not need 4lo but it also stops you putting the transfer case into neutral if it ever needs to be towed

Default Bugger

Had my recall done several weeks back, tried low 4 and all good.
Thought I'd try it again this morning and guess what..... no low 4 and SERVICE 4WD SYSTEM appears on dash. Not happy.
Will go back to Jeep today and see what they say.
Hopefully sort it out by Toolangi weekend....

Cheers, Craig
