Nice resurrection
Someone earlier mentioned 30 seconds to deflate a tire with the Stauns - maybe a 29in tyre going from 35 down to 30 PSI... Since a Staun only presses the valve in, press your valve in to see how long it takes to drop from road to sand pressure. On my vehicle this is approx 4 minutes (285/70 17's dropping from 32 to 18 PSI). On the Currie deflator I can drop the same amount is approx 45 seconds per tyre plus another 15 or so seconds to attach and detach. So time wise over all they are pretty much the same.
However - I also know every time that the pressure is spot on and has not changed on one device from bouncing around in the glovebox, and if there is particularly soft sand up ahead I can drop another 2 or 3 or 5 ( or whatever I want) PSI easily and uniformly across all 4 tyres. Much moire flexible than one set pressure.
