only problem with the lightbar being down there is limited throw due to almost being at road level and damage sustained.

I get a decent enough throw at that height with a 20in. Lights up the trees on Beechboro Rd quite well. I'm using a cheapie 4wdsupercenter lethal.
Would like a 40in on the roof but dont want to look like a asian redneck.

LAREDAZ
Did you reinforce the bracket at all? I can push my numberplate around quite easily so I was worried that mounting the weight of a 20" light bar would be too much weight for it - especially on corrugations.

No interference with the front parking sensors in either position?

New tyres today Love these, the 285 60 R18 on the Black Laredo 18" rim looks and fits perfect, no rubbing at all in park mode, but have not checked on articulation yet. Some reason gained 20mm height against old tyre, should of only been 14mm. Also got a 265 65 r18 in the spare carrier which I was surprised.
