Unhappy Sorry My Chrysler..Still no Dual Cab Pickups!

Have sat on the fence waiting as long as I can,for Jeep to give us a dual cab pick up of a sensible size like the Hilux (Toscama) Navara, Triton etc. My dog 'Spanner' can wait no more. Went to the local Emerald Nissan dealer and the sales guy came out. He spotted me looking at a Navara D-40 'Gooday! After a dual cab are you?" 'No Mate Not really" He looked at me with a few question marks appearing through the haze. "But my dog Spanner is. He is tired of traveling in the cab of our wagon. Wants to get some air in a pick-up." We would have got a Jeep rig but too late. Got a ripper Nissan Navara so sadly we have to sell our much loved '97 XJ Turbo Diesel 103,000

Just watch the transfer drain plug, and engine sump, VERY vulnerable and fragile.

I like the tie-down rail system in the back of them things

I have a Navara and Bundy is correct about the underside. But you can pick up skid plates for around $500 odd that will solve that in a hurry. They are decent utes. Have a few doubts about the overall build quality though. I think it will end up a rattly old bugger in a few years. But oh well as long as the donk lasts.

A Jeep Ute would be just the shot, my Brumby is getting on, at 18yrs old now and looks like it's replacement will be something Jap as Jeep doesn't have anything for work. A Wrangler is useless for carrying anything bigger than an esky but then could cut the back off and put a tray on ?????

I don't think Chrysler make any dual cab let alone one of decent size.
A true Jeep buff would pick up a late model Cherokee or Wrangler then spend $7-10k getting a dual cab conversion done
You will get your money back at resale time. And have no problems selling it.
