Default Greetings and quick question about mystery socket.

Hi all.
Recently updated from a 2003 td5 defender to a 2013 CRD JKU.
Am very happy with things so far and steadily building confidence around the vehicles reliability and capability. Having no previous experience with jeeps, I'm sure I'll be bothering you constantly with random queries such as the one I have for you today!

The socket/plug in question is located near to the left rear wheel, and I'm assuming that there should be something plugged into it!

Any thoughts?

Also one other quicky. regarding the tyre pressure monitoring system.
Do the sensors fit in any type of rim? Specifically XD Series Rockstar ii.

Looks like the wiring plug for the loom going to the stock rear bar's fog lights.

What timbotrog said!

Just had a quick look at mine & can verify, that is what it is.

And the sensors should fit. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem swapping them over.

👍 thanks for that. Good to know on both counts.
I guess that’s why when I turn the fog lights on and then go 1 click further nothing happens, even though a little light comes up on the dash.
