Well new Iridium plugs have had two days and no major changes but with a 2 hour drive to work each morning (40KM) and back at night it's little wonder there is not much change however it is pulling better. (it never gets into overdrive)
Also did a few calculations... My tyres are 2" larger diameter than stock and according to the GPS the speed is reading 12% low..
400 km by odometer is really 400 X 1.12 = 448KM
It took 70 Lts to fill the tank so that makes 448km per 70Lt= 16.6 Lt/100Km not the 17.5 on the display..
I will get my speedo re-calibrated next week ...
The moral is that after the big tyres went on the (apparent) fuel consumption went up..
Wrong its the same as before although the 3 1/2" lift knocked it around a bit.

Default 06 Manual CRD Economy

Hey guys, just had the 20000km service done on my KJ.
Fuel economy has been better than expected.
Around Town 9L/100km,
Accross the Nullabor :7L/100km (speeds less than 115kph)
: 13L/100km (anything over 115kph / 2400RPM)
Economy did increase after the first 10000km service. Figures before then... I have no idea, not good.
Car has no engine or fuel system mods to increase economy, but does have a roof basket on.
Hope this helps.
