Nah, thats great news get it fixed and if they still have worries it could be sold easy peasy, just leave it for a week or so after the media release and it's forgotten. In fact probably already, not everyone hangs on every word of the media......
This sort of stuff happens more than Joe Blog Public knows, just a media sensatation highlights it, if it was a Range Rover hardly rate a mention as most of us don't have one

Yep, the media kicks it off - then the bunch of regular Jeep knockers make the noise, most never having owned one. There's a particular travel & caravanning forum that currently has a near hysterical thread dedicated to knocking Jeep, all brought about by this event. It makes me howl with laughter knowing many of these same guys think the best thing for towing a 3t caravan is a ute!

This guy is a agent provocateur, and he likes to sport controversy but his comments about FCA not meeting its minimum obligations under consumer law is pretty accurate.

I agree - Cadogan is a bit of a douchebag and dishes out some pretty dubious “advice”, but FCA/Jeep don’t do themselves any favours. They keep finding new and interesting ways to be bastards. Yeah, this car had done a helluva lot of km’s and was out of warranty, but a fuel system repair bill that costs basically as much as the vehicle cost new is nothing more than opportunistic a**f*****g.

Yeah, I know there are examples of all brands being guilty of unscrupulous behaviour, but I’ve copped far more of it from Jeep in 4.5 years than from every other brand I’ve owned put together. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

I bet there is no news coverage, of the fact Jeep will fix it free of charge.

Cadogan also gives Toyota 200 series a bashing, plus the Hilux and Prado,s DPF woes. Funny thing is Toyota owners defend their trucks even when shit is landing on them in big doses. My mate has a two year old Lux which still has DPF problems even when T have said it should be ok now.His fuel consumption is still way to high.poor acceleration .Still reckons they are better than any other vehicle for towing,!,When you pay $50000.00 why do T still put drum brakes on the rear.
