Of course mate.

I do a LOT of country highway driving so light performance is critical to me. The standard high beam on my 2012 GC is woeful at best. When travelling these roads full of roos with my family, $1000 is cheap insurance!
Yeah, I'm not suggesting standard lights are just as good or adequate. There are any number of lights well under $1K that will do the job for me.

absolutely . i think the stedi and narva are a massive jump in quality and output compared to lights underneath them . To be able to get a pair of high quality lights for ~1k is a very good deal . No need to run extra lightbars etc.

Finally got the Stedi light installed yesterday. Had to drill a few holes as the existing ones didn’t line up but I’m very happy with the positioning. I’ve decided to get it professional wired up as it’s just to much of a pain in the ass at the moment, going to cost about $400 for labour but I will have piece of mind that it is done properly.

Will do some testing when I go to Deua National Park in early December.

Thanks to the positive feedback here I've decided on the Stedi 8" driving lights.

Will get them fitted when ARB fit my bar on the 25th.

Seems to be good price & quality & they use Osram LEDs.

Cheers

Is the balast for the HID built into the D1s/D2s bulbs? Got the Type X and would lile to tap into the hi beams.
