Default Erratic idle

Drove down to Batemans bay and back to Sydney last weekend.
On the way back every time I was climbing acceleration starts to slow down around 2000rpms I get this erratic idle that goes back and forth between 100rpm it can be seen and heard.

I've posted a YouTube clip, any ideas guys?

By the way ignore the traction lights, need to wire up my right wheel speed sensor.

Seems to be an RPM stability issue. Not idle, though. I would first suspect the things in the feedback loop that control engine speed & fueling.

It's a CRD? First things I would check for are O2 sensors and the DPF burnoff routine in case either are playing up.

Are you sure? I thought all modern cars had O2 sensors?

Fair point. I don't know enough about the CRD to help, other than that.

Good luck!
