2003 2.8 renegade- no abs

According to redbook and all other googling for Aussie spec cars, I should have abs. But I don’t.
I have the small brake block, no abs fuse, no abs light, no wires from speed sensors.

Build date is 11/02, Aussie plate is 04/03
Vin says it’s a my03, and everything else matches what it should.

Do I have a legal/insurance problem here?

If you search you might find the brochure from the day and it will be in there.

My 2005 TJ no ABS from factory. I think it was an optional delete for people who mostly used them off-road.

I like the car (and am kind of happy it’s not there- less failures) but didn’t want legal issues.

There are no legal issues as far as I know. It is fine to drive a non-abs equipped vehicle, if it was sold that way originally.
