deviish?.....from your message it seems you drive a hummer. what the hell are you doing on a site that involves discussions on 4wd's ?

Great news DavidD that's two so the fix really does work - i know mines great now.

Hi devilish - no they did not clog with dirt they came supplied from the valve manufacturer coated in a protective film - this film needs removing or it makes the vent valve sticky and prevents it from opening properly or at all in some cases. No doubt now that Jeep have identified the problem they will get the factory to fix the valves before the tanks are fitted.

no big deal just one of those little things that happen

thanks, i get it now. well done. yep, there was a jeep run here about a week ago few jeeps and one hummer. the jeeps spent most of the run with snatch straps out pulling the hummer out time after time. a very useless vehicle but then most owners seem to know that because the first thing they do is lower them cover them with chrome toys and stuff. look most impressive in the shopping centre on sat. morning.

why would i take photos of a hummer? the best thing to do with a hummer is probably to use it as a boat mooring.

Photos of a hummer stuck getting rescued would be interesting to me but each to there own I guess.
