The fitted quote was A$1700 thats with the extended shocks. Skids work out at A$360 fitted as the limited here in Oz has the Motor and tank protector already fitted so only need the Transfer and tranny. So I guess I'll get them fitted.

Does anyone know who makes the Mopar lift kit for Aust?

My dealer has been told they are made here.

Cheers Doc

Is the standard covers worth keeping? Are they the same quality as the granny and transfer you got fitted?

Just under 1700 fitted for the lift kit and yes the std motor plate is worth it but I changed out the fuel tank but I dont think I would if I did it again.

But I only went mopar as trying to get anything else turned out to be a pain.

Cheers Doc

I got my Mopar lift around July. The parts were around $950. My mechanic then fitted them for $500. Pretty good I thought. Parts + fitting for $1200 is real cheap, but they've probably estimated on the fitting time and might slug you more when they realise it takes a little longer to fit. However, as I've mentioned before, if I had my chance again, I'd spend the extra few hundred and get the CRDSTU lift kit. I still haven't heard back from the dealer about the rear springs being different sizes. I need to follow up on that.

I had the Mopar lift done last week. Cost me 1200 fitted from Albury Jeep. They did a great job. I've since driven about 2000kms and it has settled well. Very happy with the handling, needs an allignment now but that's expected after settling.

So many legalities in NSW with Mods, turns out that 50mm is the maximum height increase including any height gained from increase in tyre diameter aaaarrgh piss off RTA!
