Question [SOLVED] Extreme battery drain

Hello,
i bought an (ab)used 2005 WH GC and i've noticed that it has a severe battery drain, as in 4 days without use and the battery is at practically 0v

As i'm not too familiar with the power distribution or timeouts for modules, where should i start narrowing this down? ¿how much do the modules stay alive before sleeping?.

I've looked at the known problems thread but couldn't find anything about the drain.

regards

edit 9/4: It solved itself, or might have been the clogged roof drain

silly me, i forgot to add this is a new battery, fully charged with a manual charger.

i've left the battery disconnected these days.

Also to do some quick tests and fuel drain i have another old and kind of wonky battery, charged it fully and it cranked the car perfectly(not even a drop in the lights), had it running for ~15 minutes (checked battery voltage and it's charging corrctly), left it connected and 5 hours later would not even crank two revolutions before going completely flat and then not cranking anymore.

So in 5hrs shut off it killed a fully charged (old) battery, the battery is not that far gone that it won't start a car 2 times in less than 8hrs (i use that battery as a emergebncy starting battery) after being fully charged overnight PLUS 15min of alternator

If you pull fuse 27 (15amp fuse box closest to battery) this is supposed to minimize current draw from all factory systems when in storage so if you still have excessive draw then start looking at aftermarket things like stereo, trailer brakes, driving lights etc.

i'm comparing those fuse schematics to the ones i have in my vehicle and also the ones that got posted in this forum(those google drive ones) and also other pictures and i notice discrepancies that you might enlighten:

in the IPM, R11 AND R24 are listed as rad fan hi and lo, my WH does not have them populated, neither the pictures i've seen, yet the "main" fan(i only saw one fan at all) does work(either by running engine or turning AC on).
I also don't have F23 which is again rad fan.
checking the service manual from what i understand on the diesel, the hydraulic fan module is fed from F24 of the PDC (same one that feeds the fuel pump)

F27 in the IPM is IOD#1, right?, i'll start by testing that.

AFAIK there's no aftermarket anything, no trailer, stock lights, stock stereo, the only thing i see aftermarket is one of those cheap front parking distance sensors(i gather it's aftermarket, might be stock for all i know) that sits in the middle of the top of the dash just under the windshield

Do you have a multi-meter? If so check for a current draw across the fuses with the probe tips inserted in the small hole in the upper corner of each fuse. Any current drop indicates an active circuit.
A quick and dirty check is to feel the Relays, any warm ones might direct you to which relays are still energized with the ignition switched off. Was the TIPM fuel pump issue a problem on this model?
