The main issue I have with the Tillix valve is that there is no reference on engine load. Vane control is done based on calculated engine load, current boost level and engine speed. That's why you see it jump up and down quickly, the ECU reacts to changes in all those parameters.

After a bit of testing I have decided to keep Tillix valve in place to stop over boost but do away with needle valve. Computer doesn't like sustained boost at certain revs and occasionally throws a p0243 code.
Have put actuator back in but still having trouble with drivability so will have to buy new one and cross fingers.
