Switch wires for relay
Gday peoples.
I'm mounting four switches in the roof console and need to know, will telephone cable be adequate for switching of relays.?
The four switches are for:
Spot/driving lights
E-fan
Air compressor
Rear work light.
This is the cable I have on hand....
Cheers

Given the cable is very light duty though I would be adding 2amp max fuses at the power source for the switch wire.

It's already all set up for positive switching, with the relays in the engine bay. I'm moving two existing switches and adding two more.
Is there any advantage to negative switching?
Any shortfalls, like power feedback or...?
Cheers

If you negative switch and the wire rubs through its simply negative to negative. Might turn something on but no arcing out etc.
