I'd upgrade the brakes. Other than that if it isn't a rock crawler I'd say you will be ok.

I run 34 maxis bighorns on 3.73 2010 auto diesel.
Happy with off road manners. On road when cruising at 100 k, if need be switch overdrive off and drives nice. In overdrive the car labors a little going up hill.

Edit: the added clearance has made the jku a different more capable jeep. Even had some comments from others that have notice the difference in it's capabilities. I certainly haven't changed.

Hey true I have 33 ATM and I feel it needs the ratio done. Can t get into top gear unless I sit on 110.


Got to work out how much offset was in the rims. How much is need to run 35 my rears a pretty close to the ppm rear control arms

I'm running I think 5 inch BS with 35's so track width increase is still within the rules

Nice I'm sure that's what I am running else well. Might rip it down to the tyre mob next week an ask. Hope I can get them on save me having to buy rims and flares
