Default Cabin filter

I asked a Jeep guru mate why my Kk was making weird aircon noises.
And he suggested checking this, I’d never heard of it.
Mine looked like a washing machines arse.
Open your glovebox, squeeze the sides at the back-top and it will drop right open. Behind it is the cabin fan and under that is a 100x10mm flap . There’s your filter.
Im surprised my aircon still worked

Lol, that bad! I’m surprised you don’t have a respiratory infection. [emoji23] I hope you threw it out and ordered a new one?

Are you sure the KK doesn’t have two installed, pretty sure many vehicles do.

You’re right. There’s two beside each other, but one hole.
This one looked worse

Check out my Ride(s)
Default Cabin Air Filters

For those with a lack of imagination:
Check the date of manufacture... They were only installed about a year ago, I would say.

Only thing is...I have never come across an air filter that was directional! I didn't take note which way around they go!

I'm guessing air flow is in a 'downward' direction? Cause otherwise all the crap would fall down into the fan. This way the crap just sits on the filter medium, until your car turns upside down.

Anyway, 2x new filters were purchased when I got everything for the 120,000km service, so in they went.

So what you guys are saying is that you need to do 2 of the filters at the same time? Both of which are the same part number?
