Default 07 JK Soft Top header

Hey guys,

Was the tsb for the soft top header replacement in the US only?
pick up my 07 second hand and it still has the plastic soft top header and it has a bow in the middle which I think is causing all the wind noise.
Just wondering what my options are.
Can I go to the dealer and get them to replace it With the steel one?

If it is under warranty, then you can ask dealer to perform TSB. otherwise, just get one from quadratec. Dealer quote $900+ for the metal header just for the parts. Quadratec has it for $100~ish.

Wonder if the extended warranty covers it. I did have them replace some door seals on it. I will call tomorrow and ask

Otherwise I'll get it off quadratec

It isn't a seal, it is a rigid part of the soft top frame. You'd hope it would be covered.

Well I had the service manager as CJD Wanneroo tell me that he has never heard of the TSB, cant find it on the system and there is no such thing as a steel softop header.

He was very rude and sounded like he thought I was wasting his time, does anyone know if the following part number works for a 2DR 07
Part No: 68049276AB
Looked on Quadratec and it say it will only fix a 4 door.
