Idk why, I bought 3 of those ordinary $40 flashlights that also have light to the side and they served me well for almost a year now. And yeah just never forget to charge them before every trip LMAO.

We are just setting up a camper for the hols and strip lighting had slipped my mind. Our shakedown camp had 4 led torches that came with the camper, not ideal.

I had a small win out at a bush camp. I always do a uick cleanup of where others have been.
There are always tent pegs & other goodies left behind.
I found a 4.5 kg LPG bottle, 3/4 full and a regulator/hose.
A week later at an opp shop I found a LPG light for $2.00 .
Its great. If it is turned down low there is enough light for the camp site. A bit like a full moon. Up at max its like day light.
Been using it for a while.
I have made a fitting so I can fill the cylinder a larger cylinder to save $$.I havent emptied the bottle yet but it looks like it will go for weeks on a bottle.
A great old school item.

I use strip lights... cheap from bay and connect them via switches and fuses to the Cycle battery. I take several torches for when away from the camp. I have also used the Gas on a pole light (old school) that r really good. If u want more focused light stick a bit of alfoil at the back of the light.

An L.E.D strip light permanently mounted to my awning (along the aluminum back board) with a remote dimmer powered by main (car) battery.

A head torch (rechargeable via USB)

One of these USB rechargeable work lights from Bunnings

And a camp fire.
