Took just 1.7L of AMSOIL Synchromesh MTF before it started coming back through the fill hole.

Anyone tried Penrite ATF MPH or ATF FS in their 545RFE?... Thoughts?... The 1st is a semi synthetic and the 2nd is a fully synthetic. Penrite website says they are both suitable for use where ATF+4 is required. A mate pointed me to them, but unfortunately I had serviced my tranny with Mopar ATF+4 at nearly $25 per ltr already. Next time I will probably give the FS a go.

You can get much cheaper ATF+4 from the States, I just did mine and paid $137.50 for 12 quarts including shipping.

I got it from Amazon. Just type in ATF+4 and off you go. When you check a particular bargain, click on it and see if ships 'worldwide'.
