hmm im guessing your is 95 or newer, as mine has a washer bottle where your abs is, i have a pump down in front of the master cylinder in mine.
when you get time if you dont mind could you take a photo of the area around the brake booster, ill post a pick up first of where my pump is to show you the area im interested in.

The ABS can clearly be seen on the passenger side

saying there a bit blury would be lieing, there shocking photos, yet that because its night time and i used my phone not my camera, and have no light outside so was doing my best to use the flash to see what i wanted to take a pic of.

however they still show the location of my abs pump, and are interested in knowing if i will have clearance issues with this and a ls1.

wouldn't bother with the ABS. It will probably brake better and have better pedal feel. I would say if you left the ABS unit inplace, it will touch the headers..

ok thanks will need to look into what to do further when more bits of the project come into reality.

hows yours going now, gearbox all sorted out now?

Ordered a full rebuild kit for the auto and a factory workshop manual. Box comes out this weekend.

Yours is a 94 model, they had the ABS unit there, I will be using mountings and hard lines from a 94 when I fit ABS to mine as I have a snorkel that will prevent the pump from fitting in the normal location....
