Fitted MBRP exhaust today. Sounds good, quiet on idle, quiet while cruising, just enough purr to keep you happy.

I second that- top effort.
Did you get the axle through a local mob?
Let us know how the mob at RCV performance handle the case...

81Kiwi; I'm interested to hear more about the exhaust? Is your JK a CRD or V6? I can't remember. I've looked at those MBRP exhausts and everyone raves about them....

I'll second that. That's one well sorted JK, and the new tyres finish it off nicely.......though knowing you I doubt it's actually finished!

The rack looks good. Might have to look at one of those if SWMBO keeps taking more stuff away when go camping.

I like the rear tub as well. Does that just bolt in or does it need welding?

Had AEV snorkel fitted (it's a start!). Too scared to cut the holes myself!

On with the AEV lift and 33" muddies. Will post pics later.

Hi Paul
The rear tub is great, and easy to fit, simply follow the instructions. The are bolted in, the instructions get you to bolt in from the bottom, however I fed the tub through the top, so that the top lip was above the floor instead of under it. I then used that black sikaflex they use to hold buses together, and then bolted. Straight forward really.

Yeah so far so good, I have the V6. I'm pretty happy so far, the install was pretty straight forward, though I had a little snafu, which I may need an exhaust shop to fix, as in my haste I have may created a clearance issue.

As for the sound it won't be everyones cup of tea, it definitely is no V8 after all. But it's quiet when you want it to be and just enough noise to remind you that you're not driving a mini van.
