Has anyone actually been able to update their MY14 Grand Cherokee Larado with any new firmware? Or is 16.13.13 the latest?

It seemed to take forever to get home and divert off main roads.

I downloaded 'here we go' onto a tablet, when we visited Queensland, I aked for the shortest route from Brisbane to Gladstone.
Yep, off the main road down bush tracks, in a rented Hyundia sedan.
That was the last time I put in shortest route, it takes it figuratively.

I must admit, I never set it for the shortest route, but then again if you have 'No Unpaved Roads' ticked, it should only take you on bitumen.

Disappointed after spending $195.00 on the updates.

Cheers, Craig

That's a real bummer. I was thinking of upgrading but if that's the result I guess I'll stick with waze.
Had a quick trip to Canberra and it didn't even have a section of dual lane expressway. Had an image driving though the fields. Was hoping to fix that if I upgraded. oh well.

Smile Help if possible

I just brought a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (My2014) As it was a November build. How do I update the uconnect system as I believe it’s overdue for an update? Is there not supposed to be a way for me to read my texts where it says messages as I can’t seem to get them on it. Also I read somewhere there should be an apps section or something or other. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if you can get 17.43.01 to load on the early MY14's I could only update to 16.13.13 mine is a August 13 build MY14. I do not have the NAV on my Laredo so it is not a big deal to have 17.43.01. If you want the latest (still old) maps apparently you need to update to 17.43.01 first.

I can't thank you all enough, glad I found this thread!

Special thx to Sox for hosting the files! I just spent the night updating the NAV system and maps + the Infotainment system on my '14 Cherokee, took a couple of hours but all went without a hitch. The dealer wanted my Jeep for 2 days at a $500 cost (plus lost time off work) to do the same!

Had the dealer do the trans recall/software update a few weeks ago and now I feel like I've got a new Jeep again!
