Fitted the new drums on Tuesday night...what a difference, the brakes work so much better now. The handbrake actually works too, problem is something went snap and now the handbrake is completley loose, just the cable I hope but need to pull the centre console off to investigate.
id start by looking under the car where the cable runs thru the floorboard all the way to the drum. then look inside the drum. THEN pull the console off. either it came loose or snapped. if it snapped i have a set that may suit yours. good luck, Rodge

Get a cheap no chip key cut. Hide it on the outside. That way you can open the door. If some one was to find it they could open the car but not run it.

I had a hunch that it was something inside the console, the handbrake lever was really loose, zero resistance, etc...pulled out the centre console pocket and found this:

can see the snapped cable there in the middle of the pic.

While I had the camera out I took some pics of the front swaybar to get peoples opinions.

Drivers side:

Passengers side:

You can see on the drivers side where its been rubbing on the metal brace there...also seems to me that it's sitting quite close to the springs.

Cypher the sway should not be so close to the panhard bracket. Is the sway not properly centred cause it appears that way. It does also seem a little close to the spring. It almost seems like the sway bar is not the right one.
