Mines stock with front and rear bars and is getting about 15 or 16 around town which is pretty shit so I'm thinking there might be something wrong. Seems like it's gotten worse over the last 18 months. When I first drove it home from Port Macquarie it did about 10.5 which I was happy with.

It's a module to program your ecu for certain features such as speedo, gearing etc. Get from jeep konnection. I just got mine last week. I run 33s on stock 4.11 CRD and have found the procal useful. My speedo is corrected, fuel consumption figures read lower and auto shifting is marginally improved.

I get approx 11/100km on highway. Wouldn't bother worrying about around town.

V6 manual with 285/70R17 muds.

I get arount 10-11kpl on the motorway, but up to aroud 14 or so on the local school trips etc in a hilly area. (The uphill starts are a real killer for fuel economy! )

The pro cal module recalibrates all the electronics to get the computer to correct all the calculations of your speedo, trip computer, shift patterens on the auto, and other stuff like getting rid of the one touch lane change on the indicators, head light on and off timing.
It can be set to recalculate for diffrent tyre sizes up to 40inch tyres.
And it will calculate for any changes in ratios you make.
It can also be used for getting your steering centered after a lift and wheel alignment, becasue this can throw the computer off if your steering wheel is off center, the computer will start to apply the stability control to compinsate for the steering wheel being off center.
I had one on my 2 door petrol auto with 305x70x16 (33s) and I also got rid of the one touch lane change on the blinkers, it made the auto shift a lot better and much more smoothly.
Without the ProCal you computer in the car is calculating all the electronics as if the tyres were stock and it will calculate incorectly because the car is using more throtle at turn the bigger tyres and constantly shifting at the wrong times.
I baught mine from Quadratec in the USA and it was about $150.00 delivered, but that was when the dollar was about 85c US, but shipping has gone through the roof.
It is a worthy purchase, you wont be disapointed.
And before any body thinks too much, No I am not a shareholder.
Just willing to endorse a product which works.
