Latest obstacle was discovered today, luckily before I started on my doors, what ifound was the wiring for the main switch in the drivers door will foul (or least appeas that it will) which will prevent the window from travelling up and down freely.
Only solution I can see at the moment is to move the main switch so I'm going to investigate moving the main switch out of the drivers door and relocate it to the centre console, this will mean I can also ditch the switch in the passenger front door too, I'll need to spend a little time going over the circuit to see if I can make this a plug in mod which will be my first choice.....

All finished, took about 2hrs per side....

Only down side is the fact that these winows aren't tinted but the rest are, getting a match for the fronts would be interesting, if the rest weren't I'd just get them all done....

You know whats going to happen don't you ??

The next owner is going to post a question about it,

... and there will be 35 pages of conflicting posts about which year model parts he needs,

... coz he's got no 1/4 vents ..

Good job ... another well planned task completed.
