Default EFS lift kit issue

hey guys I recently installed a 40mm EFS lift kit in my jk 2007 4 door wrangler have noticed the front is lower then the back by a fair amount.

The stock back rubber spring mounts fitted perfectly with the new springs however the front springs were were to big (diametre) for the stock mounts so had to use some mounts a mechanic had lying around.

They were much smaller about 15mm tall whereas the stock rubbers were 30mm tall. So where the back has 30mm mounts and the front has 15mm thick mounts im assuming thats the difference.

anyways my question is where can i get larger spring mounts?

or is my problem something different entirely?

cheers

if the springs don't fit the stock rubber isolator - take them back. generally spacers sit above the rubber isolator, so you still use the factory isolator.

i havent used any spacers at all the springs were simply stronger giving me the extra lift but found that the rubber isolator diametre was too small for the spring. So are you saying the front springs are wrong if the stock isolators dont fit?

thanks for the help

Yep. I havent seen a kit for the JK that said to remove the stock isolators. If the springs dont fit over them the springs are not right.

Hmm, whats a struck quality control system... Obviously doesnt apply to the web site!

i had the same problem with my EFS lift, i rang the technical phone number and old mate said to just leave the isolators out, it now sits like a drag car. i havent fitted them yet but i have purchased some 1/2" teraflex spacers and they are slightly larger in diameter to the original rubber isoloators so i am hoping i can refit the isolators by putting the spacers on the spring and then the isolator on top of it. the problem with the EFS coils are that they are not wound in at the top like the OE coils are

Hey guys update on efs lift.

EFS springs are great!!! i rang EFS directly and asked what was going on, as the front was much lower then the back. I have a winch and bullbar (which i explained to people i bought the springs from) therefore my springs were not rated to take the weight.

He told me the correct springs i needed i swapped them and the supplier was happy to take the wrong ones back interestingly enough the new springs fit the stock isolators!!! i originally had Jeep - 111e in the front and they were wrong i now have jeep -1114hde or similar (dont have paperwork anymore) and they are great.

Thanks so much for all the assistance on here guys much appreciated it had nothing to do with the isolators i had the wrong springs!!!!!!

coey as for your problem i think you will find you have the wrong springs too dont try and put spacers in the springs thats dangerous and not allowed for.

i have now fit the isolators same as original springs. the difference in height was 25-30mm from front to back its now 5mm and they fit the same as stock springs
