We have a reflector telescope which would be fun to bring, but..no room

Actually, to be honest, if I had to pick between firewood and the telescope, I'd pick the telescope for this trip, haha sorry Grippy
No chance though :thumbsdownemoji:

That would be awesome to get a good scope shot of it on camera.

That would be excellent but,

How fast does the ISS travel through it's orbit relative to us?
It might he hard to find it in the view range, move head, aim cam, focus cam, take pic....ahhhh shit, it's out of view range again...8 goes later hahaha

Definitely fun to try.

Mine's not computer assisted at all. Totally manual.

What's your longest lens?
, I have seen shots of it before on some photography sites I am part of, only when it's passed in front of a full moon to light it up and give it a back drop, otherwise it would be tough to track as it moves pretty quick.
I'll bring my Astrotracer for one of my cameras, allows for up to 5 minute exposures with a wide lens and tracks by moving the sensor inside the camera, making for some awesome star shots

I'm not sure. I'll bring everything with me so I can actually learn how to use them! [emoji106]

I not sure if Grippy is asking Tattoo or me about lens length

If me, I can't remember the numbers.

It's got about a 100mm diam mirror, and the tube is approx 900mm long

It maxes out looking at Saturn's rings. Anything smaller than that is impossible to make out.

The moon is great in it, especially when it's a half moon with the shadow highlighting craters and stuff
